Our Kids & Teens Capoeira Belt Ceremony is coming up! Join us as we celebrate their growth, dedication, and hard work — and create a space for every student to shine and showcase their progress and skills.

About the event
We are hosting our 2026 Kids & Teens Batizado Ceremony to celebrate the dedication, growth, and hard work everyone has put in this year!
The event will begin with our Kids Roda, where students will play Capoeira with their classmates. Then comes the Batizado (belt ceremony), where each child will play a game to earn their next belt. We’ll finish with a Solo Roda, giving every student a chance to shine and showcase their progress, skills, and favorite moves.
Registration Due Date April 1st, 2026
Event Date: Saturday, May 16rd. 2026
Schedule:
• 12:30pm - 1:00pm - Event Check-in and shirt distribution.
• 1:00pm - 2:30pm - Belt Ceremony and Showcase
• 2:30pm - Pizza and soft drinks.
*Schedule subject to change. Please plan for a little extra time after the event—just in case things run a bit longer than expected.

Important Requirements and information: Students participating in the belt ceremony must:
Register by due date.
Wear the Kids Event T-shirt (included with registration and handed out at check-in)
Wear White Capoeira pants or any long white pants.
Bring and wear their current Capoeira belt (if they have one).
